Mobile ANPR for Sussex

Optilan has been awarded an ANPR Framework Contract by Sussex Police Authority.

Optilan will provide mobile and portable ANPR systems that can be mounted in or deployed from Sussex Police vehicles and premises.

The contract includes the supply, installation and commissioning of vehicle mounted ANPR, and its integration with existing in-vehicle systems.Optilan will be providing a solution based on Appian Talon mobile ANPR equipment from Appian Technology plc.

This follows on from Optilan’s win, earlier this year, of the Thames Valley Fixed and Mobile ANPR Framework Agreement. This Framework Agreement, also based on Appian equipment, is being used by a number of Regional Police Forces.
