New Russian Company for Optilan

Optilan, whose Russian regional office opened in Moscow last year, has now formally registered a separate Russian company to undertake telecommunications projects in the region.

Two of Optilan's Directors flew to Moscow at the end of July to help found 'OOO Optilan'.

Optilan already has a history of delivering challenging telecommunications contracts in Russia, as the first company to install oil and gas pipeline communications successfullly in sub-artic permafrost conditions, at South Shapkino and in theTiman-Pechora Basin.
