General Purpose:
Manage individual sub-systems within a contract through to completion.
General Responsibilities:
Provide single point of contact and single point of responsibility to both the customer and project manager for any aspect associated with the individual sub-systems under their control
Specific Responsibilities / Hard Skills:
Sub-system supplier negotiation and control, Customer and supplier liaison, Provide accurate detailed sub-system project design drawings, Provide accurate detailed sub-system project documents, Financial responsibility for sub-systems delivery as allocated to them by the project manager, Jobcard completion and control, Interface between other project sub-systems, Pre-FAT and FAT completion, On time delivery of documentation and product, On-site commissioning activities, Ability to read and translate customer specifications, Sub-system configuration/set-up.
Required Skills:
Detailed technical design knowledge of 2 or more of the preferred sub-systems. Author technical documents and drawings. 2 years experience of technical design capability.
Preferred Skills:
Detailed design and configuration knowledge of the following systems: CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, Met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN’s, WAN’s, Entertainment, Cabling and Power Supplies
Preferred Educational Qualifications:
Degree or HND qualified in relevant discipline Proven training certification in relevant sub-system

General Purpose:
Perm Position. Implement the Divisional Sales Strategy as defined by the Sales Director
Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years expereince in the field, with a desire to get into external sales and to learn on the job
Would suit a recent Graduate student.
General Responsibilities:
To ensure the Divisional sales targets and objectives as set by the company are met.
Successful candidate must have expereince in the power utilties and/or Rail field.
Specific Responsibilities / Hard Skills:
Divisional achievements and forecast sales objectives summary to the Sales Director.
Relationship management with key customers for division.
Relationship management with key suppliers for division.
Setting bid strategies for key target contracts for division.
Setting Bid strategy on project by Project basis.
Interfacing with Bid Managers to ensure Quotation issued is in line with bid strategy.
Lead role in Tender clarification and, final contract negotiation.
Preparation and completion of Executive summary (if applicable).
Defining bid pricing strategy.
Business case for allocation of bidding resource
Required Skills:
A minimum of 3 years experience in divisional marketplace
MUST have exp. In CCTV,access control, general comms
Good financial and technical baseline
Excellent IT and communication skill

General Purpose:
To produce a tender quotation to potential customers that is both commercially and technically complaint and present this document in a well formatted and professional manner.
General Responsibilities:
To understand the bid strategy as presented by the bid manager or Divisional Sales Manager and to create a bid documentation that reflects this strategy. To monitor and control nominated subsystems in reaching the bid strategy within timescales using the lowest cost but most technically compliant supplier solutions
Specific Responsibilities / Hard Skills:
Commercial compliancy and responsibility for nominated subsystems / bid construction,
Ongoing technical review of supplier’s responses,
Ensuring that Divisional Sales and Bid Managers project bid strategy is met,
Technical compliance of nominated supplier’s bids and Optilan’s Proposal,
Supplier negotiation,
Production of sales handover pack given to Projects,
Temporary secondment to Projects to enable smooth transition from sales to projects on larger bids,
Presentation to Bid review team of technical and commercial solution proposed and decisions made,
Creation of the overview design philosophy for nominated systems / Optilan proposal
