Training Manager

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To provide a single point of responsibility for the delivery of internal training courses for all divisions within the company

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES / HARD SKILLS

To ensure the Training team are working in line with company procedures and continual development of these procedures. To coordinate, allocate and control training manpower resource. To produce a variety of standard training manuals and course notes across multiple systems. Develop and delivery of bespoke courses as requested. To hold regular meetings with Divisional Directors / Managers and HR to determine training requirements. To evaluate all course attendees and assess their level of competency or pass / fail assessment. To advise course originator of trainees results post course and ensure records created. Training course provider liaison.   Required A minimum of 3 years training experience in related field Excellent IT and communication skills Telecoms background with knowledge of 3 or more subsystems     Preferred Knowledge of the following systems: CCTV, PABX, PA, SDH, Radio, Microwave, Met, PDH, Satellite, Security Systems, LAN’s, WAN’s, Entertainment, Cabling and Power Supplies   Preferred Educational Qualifications / Training Record Degree or HND qualified in relevant discipline Proven training certification in relevant sub-system
