Quality, Health& Safety and the Environment are all represented within Optilan at Board level.  Working in a range of safety critical environments, from the oil industry to the rail sector, the company is used to complying with the most rigorous quality, H&S and environmental standards.
 
QUALITY

Optilan has been ISO 9001 accredited since 1996, and was re-certified to version 2000 in 2002. This accreditation covers all aspects of Optilan’s operations throughout the UK and worldwide.  Optilan Inc., Optilan’s US company, is ANAB accredited.

A system of continuous improvement now operates throughout the organisation, and
Optilan fully monitors the standards of its external suppliers,  promoting ISO 9001:2000 accreditation throughout the supply chain.

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Optilan holds OHSAS 18001 accreditation and is a member of the British Safety Council.  The company promotes active participation in health and safety amongst its employees.

ENVIRONMENT

Optilan has an excellent environmental record and is used to working in Heritage environments.  With the support of external Consultants from Coventry City Council, Optilan is currently working towards ISO 14001 accreditation.
