Optilan’s 1500 Square metre staging facility is dedicated specifically to the production of equipment cabinets, & racks.  The facility is capable of building in excess of 200 19” racks simultaneously.

Factory Acceptance Test

All Optilan systems are subjected to full FAT testing. 

Project-specific tests are designed to the client procurement specification and to demonstrate all system functionality and measure all relevant system parameters and levels as required.

Factory acceptance testing is undertaken by Project Engineering Teams and is generally conducted in Optilan’s main FAT workshop, which is fully equipped with fibre optic, voice, data and RF test equipment.

Some large projects which involve very high levels of in-house test activity, however, have their own dedicated secure FAT rooms at Optilan.
