Field Engineer (UK)

Scope of Role

To aid in the planned recovery of redundant assets and materials on projects that require, safe life expired assets to be replaced, in a safe manner and recover to a place stated in site documents such as TBS and or WPP. This may include the following; Cameras, Cables, CMS, Bracketry, Fibres, Screws, Nuts and Bolts (this list is not exhaustive)

Accountable for: 

Adhering to Optilan Opti-rules, Sentinel Scheme rules and Network Rail Safety standards, working as instructed and planned by the project team and in this case the Package Manager, or another person nominated by the Project Manager nominated.

Key performance indicators:

Completion of planned work in a timely manner

No accidents or incidents against hours on site

Observed safety behaviours

Person Specification:

Essential:

• Experience in SISS type projects, including working with CCTV, PA systems, Cabling and CMS
• In date, Personal Track Safety certificate, up to date Medical, and Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
• Certification in line with current Optilan requirements
• Full Driving Licence

Desirable:

• Recent experience in a similar role, prepared to work days or nights as required by the project at various locations
