Senior HR Advisor, India
Scope of Role
The Senior HR Advisor is responsible for accomplishing results in an effort to drive the delivery of day-to-day HR support in coordination with the Head of HR and global HR team. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the seamless delivery of HR services to Optilan and its client groups.
Accountable for:
Assist manage and deliver HR services and build capabilities to drive organisational performance through individuals and managers as well as identify issues and recommend solutions.
- Responsible for HR delivery and implementation across the employee lifecycle
- Partner with the global HR team on HR priorities to ensure delivery and implementation of HR solutions
- Coordinate and ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of global priorities and life cycle processes
- Assist support change management
- Work with global partners to ensure consistent communication and delivery of HR solutions and processes proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions
- Consult and coordinate with global HR team to deliver regional activities as well as participate on Optilan projects
- Lead and/or initiate Optilan projects
- Ensure a fair recruitment plan and oversee new hiring, interviews and orientations
- Oversee employee recruitment and onboarding skills, wage settlements, and dismissals
- Ensure the application of labour laws
- Promote a productive workplace and ensure a culture of collaboration and accountability
- Strong global recruiting skills, having the ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Ensure goal setting and review for all employees
- Review and update policies and processes as per business requirement
- Manage and support the talent acquisition process through strategic sourcing
- Manage and assist with payroll changes
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Optilan, its clients and assets. Ensuring the business drives compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Education & Qualifications
Essential
- Minimum of 3-5 years Human Resource experience
- Strong in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
- Strong theoretical & practical knowledge of HR
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Experience in statutory compliance and Employee Relations
- Excellent command of the English language
- Excellent Time Management Skills
Desirable
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with system implementation
