Achilles Audit Success

Leading communications and security specialist, Optilan, is celebrating near perfect scores across the board in its 2022 Achilles UVDB Verify Audit.

Following a two-day audit from Achilles, Optilan has announced it has renewed its UVDB supplier status. This validates Optilans’ organisational management systems as exemplary in terms of health and safety, environmental sustainability, quality and corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The Achilles UVDB Verify audit is an annual assessment provided to businesses that delivers practical guidance and feedback on how to improve operations. Accredited organisations are denoted as high-quality suppliers to the utilities sector and are included in the Achilles UVDB supplier database. This allows for potential customers to reduce risk in their supply chain, selecting only accredited suppliers that operate to the very highest of standards.

This renewal joins a growing list of standards and accolades held by Optilan. The business recently migrated to the new ISO 45001 standards for occupational health and safety management systems within the UK, as well as achieving ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 across our global operations for the first time.
